Reading the moderation log

Goal#

Find what happened to a member, or what a rule or moderator has been doing.

Steps#

1. The log lists every moderation action, newest first: manual commands and rule firings alike. Rule actions show the bot as the actor and carry the rule's name in the reason.
2. Filter by target, by moderator, by action type, or by time to narrow to what you are looking for, and page through long histories.
3. People appear with the display name they had when it happened. The small copy marker next to a name copies the exact numeric id, for lookups that outlive name changes.
4. An action that Discord refused (missing permission, member already gone) appears with a failure badge instead of vanishing, so the record shows what was attempted.
5. Mentions inside reasons render as names, so a reason written with text variables reads naturally.
